FROM TIRANA, 3-DAY TOUR: KOMANI LAKE – ROSI PEAK – VALBONA VALLEY

The Komani Lake journey is described as "one of the World's greatest boat trips." This special interest hiking and adventure tour is exclusively designed to offer participants the best combination of pristine wild nature, an unforgettable ferry ride through the heart of the Albanian Alps, local folklore, and traditions. During these three days you will visit most of the attractions of Northern Albania, combining a variety of exciting outdoor activities with plenty of time to soak up the local culture.

🚤 Day 1 — Tirana / Shkodra – Komani Lake – Valbona Valley This tour departs very early from Tirana or Shkodra. We head north toward Vau i Dejës where the area becomes more rural with wild nature and amazing landscapes. We stop briefly at Vau i Dejes Lake before boarding the ferry through Komani Lake — offering spectacular views of the Albanian Alps, waterfalls, rural villages, and wild forests. An exotic experience combined with the unmatched hospitality of the locals. We explore Valbona Valley National Park — the Crown of the Albanian Alps. Overnight in a guesthouse in Valbona.

🥾 Day 2 — Valbona – Maja e Rosit – Valbona Today's hiking objective is "Maja e Rosit" — one of the Balkan Peaks on the Montenegrin-Albanian border and the highest peak of Mt Bjelic. We pass through Kukaj and trek for about 6 hours to the top. From Maja e Rosit a 360° panoramic view of Valbona Valley and the Accursed Mountains. Picnic lunch at this breathtaking spot. We rest before heading back down to Valbona. Overnight in Valbona.

🌲 Day 3 — Valbona – Shkodra / Tirana Waking up with a magnificent view of the Albanian Alps will make you want to stay longer. After breakfast you have a few more hours to explore Valbona Valley. Then we begin our journey back to Shkodra or Tirana following the same adventurous route through the Albanian Alps as the first day.
