A short 1-day adventure in which you will have the opportunity to learn about the culture and history of Albania by visiting 2 of the most important castles, exploring stunning landscapes, and enjoying a lunch prepared in detail at the famous Mrizi i Zanave Restaurant — one of the best agrotourism experiences in the Balkans.

🏰 Day 1 — Shkodra & Lezha We leave early in the morning toward Shkodra — the largest city in northern Albania and one of the oldest in the country. We visit Rozafa Castle — the largest castle in Albania, famous for its legend and offering tremendous views of the lake and three rivers meeting together flowing into the Adriatic Sea. We stroll through the Main Pedestrian Area dating back to 1800 and enjoy the stunning Shkodra Lake — home to more than 270 different species of birds and wildlife.

After Shkodra, it's time for lunch at the famous Mrizi i Zanave — a traditional restaurant with a dedicated farm serving exclusively its visitors. The farm collects, elaborates and preserves regional bio fresh local products. A true agrotourism gem.

On the way back we stop at the famous Lezha Castle — where our National Hero Skanderbeg created the first ever Albanian State, the League of Lezha, in 1444. We visit the castle, the museum, and enjoy the amazing panoramic view of the Adriatic coast. We also visit the famous memorial and old churches of Lezha before returning to Tirana.
