Komani Lake Experience — Komani Lake to Shala River Boat Tour

Set sail from Komani Lake on one of Albania's most breathtaking natural journeys — a 1-hour boat cruise through dramatic canyons and narrow gorges often compared to the Norwegian fjords, leading to the legendary Shala River, known as the "Thailand of Albania" for its turquoise waters and pristine beauty.

The boat departs at 10:00 from Komani ferry terminal. Guests should arrive by 09:00 to allow time for parking and boarding. The cruise winds through steep cliffs, hidden waterfalls, and vivid blue waters, arriving at Shala River at 11:00. Here you can swim in the cool clear water, try the traditional cable crossing over the river, play volleyball on riverside courts, or dine at rustic wooden lodges serving grilled fish, local cheese, and homemade bread. The return boat departs at 15:00, arriving back at Komani by 16:00. Guide in Albanian and English. Cash or card accepted.
