Komani Lake Experience — Shkodra to Komani Lake & Shala River Full Day Tour

Experience the full magic of Komani Lake and the Shala River on a complete 12-hour day tour departing directly from Shkodra City. No need to arrange your own transport — the tour picks you up from the bus station and takes care of everything.

The day begins at 07:00 from Shkodra, with a scenic 1.5-hour drive through the Albanian Alps. At 08:00 there is a 30-minute coffee stop at a panoramic viewpoint offering breathtaking alpine views. Arriving at Komani at 09:30, the boat departs at 10:00 for a 1-hour cruise through the fjord-like canyons of Komani Lake, arriving at Shala River at 11:00. With 4 hours of free time at the river, you can swim in crystal-clear water, try the traditional cable crossing, play volleyball, and enjoy a traditional lunch at one of the riverside wooden lodges.
