Unforgetable 2-Day Tour — Theth & the Albanian Alps

Deep in the Albanian Alps, the village of Theth is one of the most spectacular and least-changed corners of the Balkans — a place where traditional guesthouses cling to valley walls, mountain streams run cold and clear, and trails lead through forest and canyon to waterfalls and glacial pools that few outside Albania know exist.

This private 2-day tour departs from Durrës or Tirana and takes you into the heart of it all. Day one includes a coffee stop along the way, a panoramic pause at Qafa e Thorës at 1,630m, check-in at a traditional guesthouse, lunch, and an afternoon hike to the legendary Blue Eye and the natural pools of Ndërlysaj. Day two opens with a fresh local breakfast, a valley walk past the old church and the historic Lock-in Tower — where over 300 blood feuds were resolved — and continues to Grunas Waterfall, one of Albania's most striking natural monuments, before heading back through Shkodër for arrival in Tirana or Durrës by evening.
